WA Tourism Awards

Tourism Council WA directly represents more than 1,700 private and public sector members across the tourism industry, including businesses in the aviation, accommodation, venue, hospitality, tours, attractions, and events sectors. The Council is also the peak body for Western Australian regional and industry tourism associations.

Tourism businesses operating in WA can benefit from a Tourism Council WA membership in several ways. Members can access a Tourism Toolbox featuring more than 170 templates, guides, economic estimators, pricing tools, legal documents, and other tools to help you create, manage, and improve your tourism business.

Throughout the year, Tourism Council WA presents regular webinars on various relevant topics to help tourism businesses better utilise social media platforms, develop their marketing, and understanding market trends. TCWA also hosts a range of industry events, providing members with the opportunity to network and discuss issues with key decision makers and stakeholders.

Business development programs, including accreditation, ratings and awards, are accessible through the online Quality Tourism Framework, which supports businesses from start-up to niche markets and international trade channels to develop sustainable businesses which prosper.

The WA Tourism Awards, run by Tourism Council WA, recognise businesses, individuals, and destinations for their commitment to excellence, providing a platform to review achievements and innovation, and an opportunity to raise your profile among the industry and consumers.

The WA Tourism Awards include a Aboriginal & Torres Strait Island Tourism Experiences category. This category recognises tourism businesses that foster a greater understanding and appreciation of authentic culture, history, heritage and/or the arts.
