Supporting economic development and sustainability for communities and Traditional Owner groups in regional Australia has been the core of our business for over 10 years. We utilise a community participation model as an integral part of our sustainable development approach in all projects and value the bottom-up approach. This approach allows us to focus on the three core lenses (IDEO) to test ideas, concepts and hypotheses in determining the unique value proposition: the desirability of the community, the most feasible and viable outcomes likely to be sustainable. We also ensure that project outcomes align with the Sustainable Development Goals developed by the United National General Assembly and adopted by Australia in 2015.
Our point of difference is that project outcomes are not based solely on desktop analysis and research. Considerable time is spent in and with community, engaging and building relationships, ensuring outcomes are realistic, community led and driven, and provide economic and social outcomes for all stakeholders.
