Founded in Perth in 2015, Tucker Bush helps bring Australian native food plants into everyday gardens and kitchens. Led by Cultural Director Dale Tilbrook, a Wardandi Bibbulmun Elder, and Culinary Director Mindy Woods, a proud Bundjalung woman, and founder/horticulturalist Mark Tucek, Tucker Bush has grown a range of more than 80 edible native plants, including fruits, herbs, leaves, nuts and roots. The range is complemented by Fresh & Dried Native herbs and spices, the Cooking with Bush Tucker recipe book, and the Tucker Bush Schools Program, which creates living classrooms where young people can grow, taste and learn about native foods.
