Dambimangari Aboriginal Corporation represents the Dambeemangaddee people, the Traditional Owners of a vast and culturally rich sea and coastal country along the northwest Kimberley Coast in WA. For thousands of years, our people have cared for this spectacular landscape, from rugged ocean waters and wide tidal reaches to sacred places like Garaan-ngaddim (Horizontal Falls) - rooted in deep cultural law and spiritual connection.
We manage visitor access through our Dambimangari Visitor Pass, ensuring respectful and sustainable visitation that supports cultural protection, environmental stewardship and community benefit. Your Visitor Pass helps fund Country management and keeps our culture strong for future generations.
In the 2026 season, you’ll see our Cultural Tour Guides at Garaan-ngaddim (Horizontal Falls) working alongside staff from Horizontal Seaplane Adventure, bringing to life the powerful stories, creation lore and sacred significance of this magical landscape as you explore one of the Kimberley’s most iconic locations. This partnership enriches experiences while honoring cultural values and deep meaning of place.
We also offer Cultural Awareness Training for groups and corporate clients, designed to deepen understanding of Aboriginal culture, history and connection to Country, helping visitors engage respectfully and meaningfully during their time in Dambeemangaddee Country.
