Wendy, the Chairperson and CEO of the Jeert Mia Aboriginal Corporation, sells bushtucker at stalls in local markets along with her artwork and floral designs.
As a child she remembers grabbing buckets and walking along the roads and through paddocks looking for mushrooms or sitting with her grandmother, putting meat on string attached to a stick at the edge of a dam to catch gilgies.
