Perth Royal Show Wildlife Parade

Oct 11, 2018 -- Posted by : di.below

A colourful flock of wildlife paraded this year's Perth Royal Show - where artists aged from 2 - 102 were invited to 'paint up' the yirlba (goanna), marlu (red kangaroo), and garlaia (emu) in their own personal style.

Around 100 native animals were featured on the WAITOC - Western Australian Indigenous Tourism Operators Council - exhibition stand wall and the 3 lucky winners and categories are:  Aisling (up to age 5), Tilly (age 5 - 12), Mandy (12 + including mums and dads).

To all of our prize winners we would like to say "Ngala Bitha Whadjuk Boodja" - "Come Along to Whadjuk Country" - for more information, and to meet your amazing Nyungar guide for this 'winners' tour at Perth's Elizabeth Quay - click here

Thank you for all of the creative talent - from the tiniest of tots to the grandest of ma's and pa's. Our competition was heaps of fun at this year's Perth Royal Show.
