NEW - Culture for Kids Attractions at Perth Royal Show

Sep 22, 2018 -- Posted by : di.below

The competition is open to all Perth Royal Show visitors, with prize draws in 3 categories: under 5’s, under 12’s - and 12+ which includes mums and dads!

3 lucky prize winners can treat their family to a tour in Perth, Bunbury, Kalgoorlie or a choice of other WAITOC tour locations in WA.

Alongside the competition, the WAITOC stand is featuring live artists and face painting on Tue 25th and Wed 26th September, and bush foods.

Cultural activities including hunting, foraging, fishing and tool making using only natural resources rank as some of the most popular activities on Aboriginal guided tours. Staged at big nature locations, these tours involve hands on fun and inspirational experiences which foster interaction and cultural awareness.

School camps and incursions at a range of locations throughout the state can be individually tailored to feature all of this and more, as illustrated in a special 16-page brochure available at the stand.

WAITOC are first time exhibitors at Perth Royal Show – presenting authentic on country experiences which extend knowledge and insights into one of the world’s oldest surviving cultures.

The Perth Royal Show runs from 22 - 29 Septermber at Claremont Showgrounds. The WAITOC stand is located in the 'Walk Through WA' Pavilion, close to entry gate 10.
